Circumstances

On Monday 13th April 2015 he was on routine motorcycle patrol when both his and another police motorcycle were involved in a collision with a car on the B1362, Daisy Hill Road, East Burstwick. He was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary were he remained in a critical condition until succumbing to his injuries the following day.

Died in Hull Royal Infirmary from the injuries he sustained the previous day, while on routine motorcycle patrol, when his and another police motorcycle were involved in a collision with a car on the B1362, Daisy Hill Road, East Burstwick.
