I am remembering PC Bryan Moore at the Police Memorial Day Service in Belfast 2026. You are always in my thoughts. Your bravery and dedication is never forgotten. I have lost you ‘Dad’ but you always are a part of my heart. Love you loads 💙

Another year goes by without you, another National Police Memorial Day goes by remembering you.
You never get over it or even get on with it, you just learn to carry it around with you.

Remembering and honouring my elder son, PC 2239 Richard Gunn, who lost his life while on duty with Surrey Police on 14th March 2004.
Always in my thoughts. Forever in my heart. Rest in peace, son.

On National Police Memorial Day, I remember with immense pride my brother, Detective Constable David Reginald “Reggie” Reeves of the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC.

David was just 24 years old when he was killed in a terrorist bomb explosion in Londonderry in 1982 while serving his community and protecting others. He was a much-loved son, brother, colleague and friend whose life was taken far too soon.

His courage, dedication and memory will never be forgotten. For our family, the loss has remained with us throughout the years, but so too has the pride we have in the police officer and the man he was.

Today, we remember David and all those brave officers who have lost their lives in the service of others. Their names live on, their service is remembered, and they will never be forgotten.

We must not forget the sacrifices made by officers, staff and volunteers. Whether giving their life or giving their lifes service the world is a better and safer place because of what they have done. My prayers with the loved ones and families who grieve a loss and my thanks to all who continue to serve. Ignore the critics and keep serving with fairness integrity, diligence and impartiality.

Your life was short, but you died doing the job you enjoyed and followed in Dad’s footsteps. We miss you incredibly but are very proud of you. Your sisters- Christine and Gill

We will always remember you, our Dad, our Grandpa, beloved husband of Agnes. 3rd generation Policeman, whose tradition continued with your sons and grandson, who is proud to bear your name.
The tragic, terrible events on November 6th 1940 at Kilburn haunt us all and we remember all 13 who lives were robbed from us while on duty.
One day your voice, held on our family’s treasured recording, will be heard again at Kilburn Police Station and it will say for us all “Yma o hyd!” (Still here!)

Even though it’s 47years since my beloved husband Allen was murdered, he is missed and loved so very much. My son and daughter also miss their father x
