Killed while travelling home from CID duties in Banbury when, at 11:20pm, his vehicle ran off the A4260 near Deddington, Oxfordshire, and struck a tree.
DC Keylock joined the force in 1985 as a Beat Officer in the Oxford area before moving to CID in 1990. He then served with Special Branch for three years and was selected for an international secondment to Bosnia in 1998. He returned to Thames Valley Police as a uniformed PC in the Oxford area before joining Banbury CID in 2002.
He is survived by his wife and their two children, a son aged 15 years and a daughter aged 7 years.
