Circumstances

A specialist motorcycle officer in the Roads Policing Unit he was responding to assist colleagues who were pursuing a vehicle that was failing to stop. Whilst travelling in an emergency response capacity he was involved in a collision with car in the Ecclesfield area of Sheffield.
