Died ten days after being shot at close range by terrorist gunmen while on late-night foot patrol with a colleague in Chapel Road, Waterside, Londonderry. She was shot less than 100 yards from where her father, William Raymond Baggley, also an RUC Reserve Constable, died in a similar attack on 29th January 1974.
