Circumstances

Died as a result of an injury to his heart during a severe drill in 1943.

Died eleven months after suffering damage to his heart as a result of a severe drill practice undertaken by the Keighley Division on 9th February 1943. Two officers were unable to complete the drill but despite suffering from myocarditis, PC Plant did so, albeit in a state of total exhaustion.
