Killed in a collision on the M66 Motorway at Whitefield while responding to a call for assistance.
PC Cameron was on his way to an accident on the M62 Motorway when, in thick fog, his police car struck the rear of a goods vehicle, trapping him in the wreckage which subsequently caught fire.
