Died as a result of a medical incident while driving to night duty.

Died from a ruptured aorta while driving to night duty about 8:25pm. His car subsequently collided with the central barrier of the northbound carriageway of the M1 motorway as it approached the entrance slipway at junction 41 .

Jack, a popular member of the firearms unit, was originally from Belfast and is survived by his parents.
