Circumstances

Died from head injuries sustained on 12th December 1941 when knocked down by a cyclist while on foot patrol.

Whilst he was on patrol at night on the 12th December 1914 when a cyclist collided with him, knocking him to the ground causing a head injury. He died on the 27th December 1914 in hospital from his injuries.
