Circumstances

Stabbed in the face by an umbrella thrown at him and died of disease.

Died as a result of an injury he received on 14th March 1907 when a female vagrant being ejected from Leeds City Train Station turned and poked her umbrella in his face, the wound subsequently becoming poisonous.
