Fatally injured, together with two colleagues, Constable Gordon Arnott Anderson and Reserve Constable Mabel Elizabeth Cheyne, when their police vehicle went out of control and struck a bridge wall at Ballymoran, between Armagh and Newtownhamilton, while responding to an emergency call concerning an assault at a public house in Armagh City.
