Fatally shot when he and an army Rifleman were ambushed as they drove away from a crime scene in South Armagh.

Constable McNeice and the British Army Rifleman had earlier been investigating a reported burglary in Drumintee Road, Killeavy, Forkhill, South Armagh.

The Rifleman died from his wounds fifteen days later.
