Died from the injuries he sustained as he travelled home from night duty at Milton Keynes police station when he was involved in a single vehicle accident.

Died from the injuries he sustained as he travelled home from night duty at Milton Keynes police station when, about 7:40am, he was involved in a single vehicle accident on an unclassified road between the A5 and Whittlebury, near Towcaster in Northamptonshire. Thames Valley Police’s Chief Constable said Daniel would be “very sadly missed”.

PC Clayton-Drabble joined the force as a Special Constable in 2012 before joining as a regular Constable in 2014.

His colleagues lined the route at his funeral for the cortege as it arrived at a crematorium in Milton Keynes. The cortege arrived at the Oak Chapel, Crownhill Crematorium with a police motorcade and was then escorted to the chapel by officers from the force’s mounted section.

The Police Roll of Honour Trust presented Daniel’s family with a memorial plaque and scroll in his memory.
