Died when her police vehicle crashed responding to an emergency call.

Killed when the patrol car she was driving collided with a stationary lorry while she was attending an urgent call at Ipswich.

Cheryl joined Suffolk Constabulary in March 2000 after service as a Special Constable; she was stationed at Ipswich where she drove the urban response vehicle, she was a Tutor Constable and had performed duties as Acting Sergeant; she was due to receive a Chief Constable’s Commendation after helping rescue a man from a river in August 2004.

She is survived by her mother, two sisters and her partner.
