Drowned when he accidentally fell into the River Thames while on night-duty near Kew Bridge.

Despite being pulled alive from the river, between 7:00pm and 8:00pm, PC Cox breathed just once before dying.

He was a member of the the force’s ‘X’ Division and left a wife and five children.
