Shot dead while out walking off duty with a colleague.

Found dead in the sea, with a gunshot wound to his head, the day after he and his colleague, Constable Charles Murdock, were abducted by terrorists while off duty walking together in Binnion, County Donegal. Constable Murdock’s body has never been recovered.
