Travelling home from duty along the A21 his car was in a collision with a double decker bus. He sustained injuries that proved fatal.

Fatally injured when his car was in collision with a double-decker bus at the Scotney Castle roundabout on the A21 in Lamberhurst as he travelled home from duty.
