Found dead under the wheels of a goods train he was waiting to meet while on duty at Central Station in Newcastle.

Circumstances

On duty at the Central Station in Newcastle he was waiting to meet an express goods train. He was found under the wheels shortly after the train stopped, due to the weather it was believed he slipped on the icy tracks.
