Jess was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while attending a two-vehicle collision. She was taken to hospital, where she sadly died two days later.

Police Memorial Tribute

Jess joined Northumbria Police in September 2025 and had already distinguished herself as a dedicated and committed officer.

She had been responding to a collision on the A189 Spine Road in Cramlington when, while at the scene, she was struck by another vehicle unconnected to the original incident. She was taken to hospital but tragically died from her injuries two days later, surrounded by her family.

Jess died in the line of duty while serving and protecting our communities. Her courage, professionalism, and commitment will not be forgotten.
