Frequently asked questions:

The memorial service is at 2:00PM on Sunday 29th September 2024. Attendees to be seated no later than 1:30PM.

Who can attend this event? Anyone who wishes to show their respect for fallen police officers are welcome to attend.

What is the dress code? Smart attire or uniform including medals. Read more about medals at the NPMD service here.

What do I do if I need assistance at the venue for example, I am a wheelchair user or I have mobility issues or a sight or hearing impairment? Please complete your registration and then email NPMD@rollofhonour.police.uk with your name (the name you registered with) and a contact number so we can contact you about your assistance requirements.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You must bring your printed ticket or the ticket visible on your smartphone together with photographic ID that matches the name on the ticket.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends? The name on the ticket MUST match the name on the photographic ID. You cannot pass your ticket on to another person.

What do I do if I can’t find my ticket? Go into Eventbrite using the email address you used to register. You will then be able to get your ticket again. If your ticket was booked for you by someone else you will have to contact that person to get another copy of the ticket sent to you.

Can I update or cancel my registration information? You can update your registration information at any time by going into Eventbrite using the email address you registered with initially. You will then be able to amend or cancel your registration. If there is an error on your ticket, please don’t just register for another ticket as this may prevent someone else from registering if you have two tickets and only need one.

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration to free up a seat for someone else.

If someone else booked your ticket for you, they will have to update or cancel your registration for you.

How do I register for a group to attend? One person can register any number of attendees but will have to book each attendee on a separate registration form. So if you are booking for ten people you will have to complete ten registration forms.

To avoid delay when you come to the venue, please ensure that every person that you register has a printed copy of their ticket or their ticket visible on their phone so that their individual barcode can be scanned by NPMD staff at the entrance to the venue.

W hen does registration close? Registration closes at 23:59 on Wednesday 25th September.

What can I bring into the event? Please bring as few bags as possible due to security checks. Changing facilities will be available for officers who prefer not to travel to the venue in uniform.

What time will the service of remembrance finish? The service will finish around 3:15PM. There will be an after-service reception at the venue which we expect to conclude no later than 4:45PM.
